Responsibilities

  1. Process and manage all outgoing payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements;
  2. Verify payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies;
  3. Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs;
  4. Record and categorize all expenses in the accounting system;
  5. Regular basis reconciliations with third parties;
  6. Reconcile expense reports with receipts and invoices;
  7. Regularly reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy;
  8. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records;
  9. Checking the correctness of the invoice received;
  10. Track and maintain records of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation;
  11. Ensure compliance with accounting standards related to asset capitalization and valuation;
  12. Liaise with banks and financial institutions for transactions and inquiries;
  13. Participation in the preparation of VAT reports;
  14. Participation in monthly closing;
  15. Provide sufficient analytical support for financial and controlling processes;
  16. Ad-hoc reports;
  17. Communication with internal and external auditors;
  18. Search for new ideas and tools, as well as optimization of the processes.

Requirements

  1. At least 2-3 years of experience in Accounting and Treasury/Payments processing, payment service providers, and/or fintech companies;
  2. Understanding the general parameters of the primary payment parameters: SEPA/ SWIFT transfers, etc.;
  3. Experience in the Big 4 (financial sector) will be an advantage;
  4. Exposure to payment regulatory frameworks;
  5. Good project management skills;
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills: Relationship management and a good team player;
  7. Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong focus on execution;
  8. Analytical skills;
  9. Ability to solve problems;
  10. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must;
  11. Fluency in Russian and English is required; other languages are considered an advantage.
