About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Reconciliation Officer to join our team. This role involves daily reconciliations of trades and cash, analytical reporting, and coordination with internal departments to resolve discrepancies. A strong understanding of financial analysis and management accounting is essential to interpret data accurately and understand the company's business model.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and maintain tables and reports, including:

    • Trade reconciliation;
    • Securities counterparties reconciliation;
    • Analytical reporting;
    • Loading brokerage reports;
    • Launching data uploads into the database;
    • Cash reconciliation with counterparties;
  2. Communicate with other departments to investigate and resolve identified discrepancies;
  3. Maintain a daily operations log (checklist) to track completed tasks.

Requirements

  1. Experience in operations, middle office, back office, or financial analysis;
  2. Strong Excel skills; experience with databases and data uploads is a plus;
  3. High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately;
  4. Solid understanding of management accounting and business models;
  5. Competency in financial analysis to interpret data and produce insightful reports;
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify data discrepancies;
  7. Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
  8. Team player with effective collaboration skills across departments.
