Responsibilities
- Review and investigate transaction alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system to identify any money laundering or financial crime cautionary flags in timely manner;
- Seek to build an understanding of the profile of customers highlighted through the transaction monitoring alert process;
- Document and report the review/investigation findings and prepare case files with the required supporting documentation;
- Provide rationale for the next course of action - relationship retention, termination, Suspicious Activity Report (SAR);
- Communicate with relevant business line and other functional units;
- Any other associated duties required from time to time to meet the departmental responsibilities and goals;
Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of European AML regulations;
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated analytical skills;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Advantage:
- Previous experience in AML Transaction Monitoring;
- Knowledge of various investments products – equities, equities derivatives, ETFs, etc.;
- Experience with tradingperience with trading.
