Responsibilities

  • Review and investigate transaction alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system to identify any money laundering or financial crime cautionary flags in timely manner;
  • Seek to build an understanding of the profile of customers highlighted through the transaction monitoring alert process;
  • Document and report the review/investigation findings and prepare case files with the required supporting documentation;
  • Provide rationale for the next course of action - relationship retention, termination, Suspicious Activity Report (SAR);
  • Communicate with relevant business line and other functional units;
  • Any other associated duties required from time to time to meet the departmental responsibilities and goals;

Requirements

Must:

  • Knowledge of European AML regulations;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated analytical skills;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Advantage:

  • Previous experience in AML Transaction Monitoring;
  • Knowledge of various investments products – equities, equities derivatives, ETFs, etc.;
  • Experience with tradingperience with trading.
