Freedom24 is part of a fast-growing international financial group listed on NASDAQ. As part of our continued growth in Poland, we are looking for a strong and strategic Director to lead our Polish subsidiary. This role is ideal for a seasoned executive with a solid background in the financial services industry, deep regulatory expertise, and proven leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manages the activities of the Subsidiary Company;
- Acts on behalf of the Company according to the main points of this Regulatory Framework, decisions of the Management of the Parent Company and within the authorities granted to him by the Company;
- Represents the interests of the Company in relations with all government and other third-party organizations and individuals in resolving issues arising from the activities of the Subsidiary Company;
- Liaises with the relevant authorities on the operation of the Subsidiary Company;
Manages the property of the Subsidiary Company within the authorities granted to him by the Parent Company and ensures its safety;
Within the limits of his authorities gives orders that are obligatory to the employees of the Subsidiary Company; - Submits proposals to the Management of the Parent Company on candidates, staff and structure of the Subsidiary Company;
- Ensures the implementation of the plans of the Subsidiary Company to increase the company’s brand recognition in the Polish market;
- Engage with local social media and media platforms to promote the brand;
- Take part in marketing campaigns and events aimed at strengthening the brand's presence in the local market;
- Actively participate in PR activities, including crafting press releases and managing media relations;
- Engage with various media outlets and resources to ensure positive coverage and consistent brand visibility across the market;
- Supervises that the Parent Company’s policies, arrangements, and procedures put in place to comply with the obligations under the Law and Directives are implemented and followed;
- Performs overall supervision to ensure that all members of staff follow the conflict-of-interest policies and procedures;
- Determines, evaluates, and efficiently manages all the risks inherent in the provision of the investment services;
- Performs other activities necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of the Subsidiary Company.
Requirements
- Higher education in economics, finance, law, or business administration; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus;
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a managerial or executive position within the financial services industry or similar regulated environment;
- Solid understanding of local regulatory and legal frameworks applicable to investment services and corporate governance;
- Experience in dealing with public authorities and regulatory bodies, with strong skills in handling corporate documentation and compliance processes;
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience in forming and developing local teams;
- Strategic thinking and operational management abilities, with a track record of executing business growth initiatives;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company in external and internal settings;
- Fluency in English and Polish; knowledge of additional European languages is an asset;
- Strong risk management orientation, with an understanding of conflict-of-interest policies and risk evaluation methods;
- Hands-on experience in marketing, brand awareness campaigns, and public relations is highly desirable;
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and initiative, with a focus on achieving long-term business goals.
