Responsibilities
- Assessment of the newly published CySEC announcements, Circulars, Directives, Laws in terms of applicability to Company’s activities;
- Monitoring and assessment that policies and procedures are adequate, to detect any risk of failure by the Company to comply with its obligations under the Law, as well as the associated risks, have been established, implemented and are maintained and that for these purposes, the Company takes into account the nature, scale and complexity of the business of the Company, and the nature and range of investment services and activities undertaken in the course of that business;
- Preparation of training, ensuring that employees of the Company attend training sessions on compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Drafting and implementation of policies and procedures;
- Active preparation and participation in the audit and regulatory authorities' requests;
- Ad-hoc requests;
- Training register maintenance and control to ensure the necessary training is delivered to the staff;
- Ability to assess counterparties' contracts;
- Outsourcing parties' assessment, outsourcing parties' KYC, and recordkeeping; register update;
- Ability to assess and enhance the principles of Corporate governance and product governance applicable;
- Ability to document and handle client complaints in accordance with the Law;
- Tight communication with the Product department and control of the KID documents;
- Ability to prepare presentations or compile reports upon request.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Compliance;
- Experience in product analysis from a Compliance perspective;
- Background in an investment company;
- English – C1;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with regulators;
- Ability to read and apply laws from different countries.
