Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance:
– Liaising with regulators and auditors (narrative review, drafting correspondence, proofreading drafts from other teams);
– Assessing new regulatory acts, monitoring compliance with applicable requirements;
– Setting tasks for the development and implementation of policies, monitoring mechanisms and analytics, and overseeing execution. - AML & Financial Crime Compliance:
– Collaborating with the AML department (in the areas of AML/CTF, Sanctions, KYC/DD);
– Analyzing transaction monitoring reports, reviewing SAR/STR reports;
– Cooperating with employees and authorities in the field of fraud prevention and financial crime investigations. - Affiliate & Data Protection Compliance:
– Assisting the department in monitoring partners' compliance with legislation and internal policies;
– Reviewing advertising activities as part of the "third line of defense," risk assessment. - Leadership and Strategy:
– Managing the team; acting as a deputy for the Director of the Compliance Department;
– Collecting feedback and ensuring task completion;
– Automating processes and optimizing departmental workflows;
– Developing reports for top management;
– Preparing materials to represent the compliance function.
Requirements
- Higher education in Law, Economics, or Finance;
- 3+ years of experience in Compliance or Internal Control; team management experience is preferred;
- In-depth knowledge of MiFID II, AML regulations, and sanctions regimes.
- Experience with KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions screening, and internal audits;
- Proficient in compliance tools (World-Check, Dow Jones, Sum Sub, etc.);
- Strong analytical skills, sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
