
Cost Efficiency Manager

The Cost Efficiency Manager at Freedom Finance Europe is responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing strategies to optimize operational costs while maintaining the high-quality standards expected of a leading European brokerage firm. This role will identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting the company's growth objectives in the European investment market.
Responsibilities
- Analyze spending patterns to identify areas for cost optimization;
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies aligned with Freedom Finance Europe's growth targets and regulatory requirements;
- Create detailed financial models to forecast impacts of proposed efficiency measures on the firm's profitability and operational capacity;
- Monitor key performance indicators related to transaction costs, platform efficiency, and operational expenses;
- Establish benchmarks against other European financial institutions to evaluate cost performance;
- Collaborate with trading desk managers, IT leadership, and compliance teams to establish realistic budget targets;
- Negotiate with financial technology vendors and market data providers to secure favorable terms and pricing;
- Prepare regular reports for executive leadership on cost efficiency performance relative to industry standards;
- Stay informed about fintech innovations and regulatory changes that impact operational costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field;
- ACCA certification is an advantage;
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or cost management within financial services or brokerage firms;
- Proven track record of successfully implementing cost-saving initiatives in regulated financial environments;
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and cost analysis;
- Excellent project management abilities with meticulous attention to detail;
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills;
- Experience with financial services software platforms and advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Knowledge of European financial regulations and their impact on operational requirements.
